Remote Alert LLC, LIMITED WARRANTY
Remote Alert will repair or replace, without charge, any merchandise proved defective in material or workmanship for a period of time set forth below. (“Warranty Period”) This warranty is provided to the person or entity that originally purchased the product from Remote Alert.

B-Stock Products: B-Stock is returned product being resold or repaired product: 30 Days.
Remote Alert assumes no risk and shall be subject to no liability for damages or loss resulting from the specific use or application made of the Products. Remote Alert’s liability for any claim, whether based on breach of contract, negligence, infringement of any rights of any party or product liability, relating to the products shall not exceed the price paid by the dealer to Remote Alert for such products. In no event will Remote Alert be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of use, loss of profit, and claims of third parties) however caused, whether by the negligence of Remote Alert or otherwise.
Customers agree to indemnify and hold Remote Alert., LLC , its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, subsidiaries, successors, assigns, directors, officers, agents, service providers, third-party monitoring company(ies), suppliers, employees, and representatives harmless from any and all claims, losses, demands, fines penalties, costs, and expenses including reasonable attorney fees and court costs.
TO THE EXTENT NOT PROHIBITED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL REMOTE ALERT, OR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES, SUCCESSORS, AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES, OR ASSIGNS, BE LIABLE FOR PERSONAL INJURY, OR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION OR ANY OTHER COMMERCIAL DAMAGES OR LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE ANY ITEM SOLD BY REMOTE ALERT, HOWEVER CAUSED, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE) AND EVEN IF REMOTE ALERT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL INJURY, OR OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THIS LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. In no event shall Remote Alert’s total liability to you for all damages exceed the amount of fifty dollars ($50.00). The foregoing limitations will apply even if the above stated remedy fails of its essential purpose.
* This limited warranty does not cover Products that (1) in Remote Alert’s judgment, have been damaged as a result of abuse, accident, alteration, modification, negligence, misuse, or faulty installation, or if the model or serial numbers have been altered, tampered with, defaced or removed, or (2) have been purchased from inventory clearance or liquidation sales or other sales in which Remote Alert expressly disclaims its warranty obligation pertaining to the Product. Improper or incorrectly performed maintenance or repair voids this Limited Warranty or (3) TFT screens with 5 or less visible areas of light and dark spots (defective pixels) or (4) defective pixels on camera sensors. (5) All software, accompanying documentation and consumables (including but not limited to fuses and batteries) provided with or as part of the product are furnished as is, and are excluded from warranty coverage.(6) all remote positioning devices, pan and tilts, scanners, preset lenses shall be covered for a period of 6 months. Remote Alert is not obligated to provide the end-user with a substitute product during the warranty period or at any time. (7) Any no problem found (NPF) units returned may be subject to NPF diagnosis fee. (8) have been purchased by OEM classified accounts (9) have discounted pricing from Remote Alert’s standard price list.
The above warranty provides the Dealer with specific legal rights. The Dealer may also have additional rights, which are subject to variation from state to state.
Replacement Policy
If a Product that is covered by this limited warranty is defective, the customer may request a replacement Product. The customer will need to provide Remote Alert with the model number of the defective product, a purchase order or invoice number, and a detailed description of the Product defect. If notice is received from the customer on or before 30 days after the invoice date for the defective product, Remote Alert will send as a replacement for the defective Product an A-Stock (new, never sold) Product of equal or greater value and performance. If notice is received later than 30 days after the invoice date Remote Alert reserves the right to send a replacement Product that is A-Stock or B-Stock, as determined by Remote Alert in its sole discretion. The customer must return the Product freight pre-paid: (US) Remote Alert, 4309 Reeder Drive, Carrollton, Texas 75010. The customer will not receive credit for the defective Product until that Product is received by and inspected by Remote Alert. Remote Alert will warrant all replacement parts and repairs for 90 days from the date of shipment. All goods requiring warranty repair shall be sent freight prepaid to Remote Alert’s designated location. Repairs made necessary by reason of misuse, alteration, normal wear, or accident are not covered under this warranty. No credit or reimbursement will be issued for any returned item that is received more than Thirty (30) days after the original invoice date for the replacement item.
No Defect Found: All products returned will be tested to verify the reported problem(s). If no problem is found with the returned product, a bench fee of $45 may be assessed.
Repair & Return (Out-of-Warranty): When the item(s) are received, we will bench test and send an estimated repair charge, if approved it will be repaired, invoiced, and returned via the customer’s preferred shipment method. All freight charges for out-of-warranty repairs are the responsibility of the customer. Items that have been repaired and shipped back to the customer carry a limited ninety (90) day warranty
If a warranty repair is required, the Dealer must contact: (US) Remote Alert at 214-960-4640 to obtain a Return Authorization number (RA), and provide the following information:
Model and serial number
Date of shipment, P.O. number, sales order or invoice number
Details of the defect or problem
Returns:
Any product that is unopened and still in its sealed package may be returned within 30 days from the original invoice date for a credit of the purchase price paid, less shipping and handling and applicable restocking fees. A restocking fee of twenty percent (20%) may be charged by Remote Alert. Upon receipt of the complete return purchase, Remote Alert will issue a credit to your account of the purchase price paid, less shipping and handling and any restocking fee.
The dealer must contact Remote alert (US) at 214-960-4640 to obtain a Return Authorization number (RA), and provide the following information:
Model and serial number
Date of shipment, P.O. number, sales order or invoice number
The customer must return the Product within 15 days, freight pre-paid to Remote Alert, (US) Remote Alert LLC, 4309 Reeder Drive, Carrollton, Texas 75010 or to Remote Alert’s designated location.
